{Reading The Book of Galatians~Week 1}

 That which has been is that which will be, and that which has been done is that which will be done. So there is nothing new under the sun. Ecclesiastes 1:9.

Would you join us in Reading 17 New Testament books? We are putting the truth of the Bible in our hearts and minds!This passage of Scripture has been rolling through my mind as I sit here thinking about all that is taking place in our world today! There is nothing new under the sun! The  world is involved in the same things today that it was involved in since the beginning if time. That is not going to change!  But the world and its foolishness are creeping into the church. My mind is drawn more to that which is going on within the church than that which is taking place in the “World.” John tells us in 1 John 2:17, “The world is passing away, and also its lusts; but the one who does the will of God lives forever.” Please, I do not mean that I do not pray for and mourn for others. I do, very much! I pray that we all do! But this book was written to the church to guide, teach, and train her to stand firm on the word of God. Not listen to and follow the ways of the world. {God is Not “Trying”~He is “Doing”}

Do you find yourself saying things about God that are not true? Me too! Our God does, He is not trying.I am writing this post because while God is doing His sanctifying work in me I find myself referring to God in ways that do not lift Him up. The words I sometimes use do not bring Him glory and honor, nor do they reflect a heart that fears Him. I write this with much humility and with a heart that wants to exalt The One and only True God and  to help you and me understand how we should honor God with our words.I was scrolling through Facebook today, I came across a picture and this is what it said, Continue reading

Show Me That in Scripture… Please!

I am Satisfaction through Christ today sharing about how believers need to be in the word of God so that we are NOT led astray!

Have you ever had to say to someone, " Show me that in Scripture ...Please" I have, I was grateful I had the word hidden in my heart. Here are 4 ways to protect your heart and mind from being led astray!I have had several opportunities over the last several years to lead Bible study classes. I now hold one in my home. It is such a joy and a delight to see women of all ages conforming to the truth of God’s word. I love to see hearts desiring truth over their own opinions or even their own desires. Any teacher, whether it be a school teacher, a Sunday school teacher, a homeschooling mom, or a Bible study teacher always love a teaching moment.I have had several of those moments over the years but one in particular always stands out in my mind. I was leading a group of High School students through a study in the book of Titus. Continue reading

{Reading 17 New Testament Books In 17 Weeks!}

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of
the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the
seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the Law of the Lord, and on His Law, he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its
fruit in season and its leaf does not wither; and in whatever he does, he prospers. Psalm 1:1-3

Bible Study: Is very important for the believer but reading through it in context is just as important. Join CTTTruth as we read 17 New Testament Books in 17 Weeks.

Have you been in a bible Study class and it is going to end for the summer? Have you been doing my Romans Study and are waiting for Part two to come out? Be looking for it in August of 2016! The class that meets in my home takes a break over the summer. We have found it difficult to study through the summer, although we have given it a good try. Vacations, gardening… seem to crowd out our study time! I am not advocating not studying! Heavens no! I would not be a good teacher if I told you not to study:) However I do believe reading our Bible is as important as our study time. Continue reading

{Would You Like to Know Where Your Mind is Taking You?}

Do you ever stop and think about where you are going? Where is your mind taking you? Would you like to know the answer to these question? Follow CTTT as we study Romans 8:5-11. The answers are just a few words away!What is the mark of a true believer? Do you ever ask yourself this question? If you ask yourself this question where do you go to find the answer? Today we will look at Romans 8:5-11 to answer the question, “what is the mark of a true believer?” Looking at Romans 8:5-11 also answers the third question, “where do I go to find out what a true believer looks like?” The answer, the Word of God. I also want to add the Word of God is the only reliable place we can get our information. God has graciously and with a warning gave us everything we need to know.  We are without excuse. Placed between Paul’s worship of Christ and His setting the believer  free from their condemnation of sin he briefly stops to give  a picture of a true believer and an unbeliever. Continue reading
